The wildcards for the final Masters of the year have been announced, and unsurprisingly, they are dominated by players from the home nation.
The beneficiaries are grass and doubles specialist Nicolas Mahut, former world no.12 Paul-Henri Mathieu, and the youngest Frenchman in the top 100, Lucas Pouille. Pouille will have a large number of points to defend as he qualified and then made the third round last year, defeating Fabio Fognini and Ivo Karlovic. He lost to Roger Federer.
Gregoire Barrere, Quentin Halys, Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Edouard Roger-Vasselin have all been awarded wildcards for the qualifying draw.
