Zizou Bergs has had a breakout season in 2024 and that continues to be the case as he has risen to the occasion in Bologna this week.
The Belgian started the season at 129 in the world but is now on the brink of the world’s top 70 as he has qualified for Grand Slams and produced incredible tennis.
Now Bergs is the Belgian number one and has had new pressure and expectations to live up to as he is expected to win his matches at Davis Cup.
So far Bergs hasn’t disappointed so far as he has beaten Tallon Griekspoor and Flavio Cobolli in three set matches.
Now the 25 year-old looks to make it a hat-trick of wins against Brazil as he targets Davis Cup glory with Belgium.
