Every tournament is played on a different surface, in different countries and different jet-lags. It’s a very difficult sport. Few players manage to be remain consistent evert week. I try to adapt to evert conditions and give my best in every single match. The match against Kalinskaya was a bit different compared to Dubai. I played well in the first set. I had some break point chances on her first service games of the second set, which I could have converted. We both raised our level. At the end of the match we made more winners and less unforced errors. It was a hard-fought match, but I am happy that at the end I was able to bring home the win”, said Paolini.
