Bologna, Manchester, Valencia and Zhuhai have been conformed as the host cities for the 2024 Davis Cup Finals Group Stage from 10-15 September 2024.
The Finals Group Stage will feature 16 teams competing in grous of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Final 8, which will take place from 19-24 November 2024.
The Unipol Arena in Bologna and the Pabellon Fuente de San Luis in Valencia will host the Finals Group Stage for the third consecutive year. The AO Arena in Manchester will hos the event for the second consecutive year. China will host the Davis Cup event for the first time at the International Tennis Center in Zhuhai.
The 16 teams qualified for the 2024 Finals Group Stage are Italy (2023 Davis Cup champions), Australia (2023 finalists), Spain (wild card), Great Britain (wild card), Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Slovakia and the USA.
ITF President David Haggerty: “Last year’s Final 8 in Malaga was an incredible event for everyone involved, and the teams in the Group Stage will be giving everything they have got for the chance to experience that again this year. The three returning hosts have track records for delivering great events, and we are excited to bring the Davis Cup to China for the first time, a location that will fit with player flow given the post US Open- Asian Swing. All four cities will provide the perfect backdrop for more intense and exciting Davis Cup action, where the world’s best players will proudly represent their nations. We can’t wait”.
