Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos beat Maximo Gonzales and Andres Molteni 6-3 6-4 in 84 minutes with a break in each set to extend their perfect record to 3-0 in Red Group at the Nitto ATP Finals at the Pala Alpitour in Turin.
Granollers and Zeballos saved a break in the first game of the opening set. They converted their second break point in the sixth game to take a 4-2 lead and served out the first set with a hold at 30.
Granollers and Zeballos saved three break points in the fourth game of the second set before earning his first break in the seventh game to take a 4-3 lead. They sealed the win on his first match point in the 10th game.
Granollers and Zeballos have reached the semifinals at the Nitto ATP Finals for the third time as a team after advancing this stage twice in London 2020 and Turin 2021. The Spanish and Argentine team are currently fifth in the ATP Live Doubles Ranking, but they still have the chance of ending the season in first place by winning the Nitto ATP Finals.
