Novak Djokovic leads the Ranking of the best 20 players who scored more points in the four Grand Slam tournaments of the year. The 20-time Grand Slam champion scored a total of 7200 points after winning the first three Majors of the year at the Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon and reaching the final at the US Open.

Danil Medvedev denied Djokovic the chance to win the Calendar Grand Slam by winning his first Major title at the US Open with a three-set victory over his Serbian opponent in the championship match. Medvedev scored 3740 points in the four Grand Slam tournaments. Before his triumph in New York Medvedev finished runner-up to Novak Djokovic and reached the quarter final at Roland Garros and the quarter final at Roland Garros.

Matteo Berrettini ranked third with 2100 points after a very consistent season in the four Grand Slam tournaments. The Italian star has become the first Italian player in history to reach at least the fourth round in all four Grand Slam this season. Only Djokovic, Medevev and Alexander Zverev achieved this feat. Berrettini reached the fourth round at the Australian Open, the quarter final at Roland Garros and at the US Open and the final at Wimbledon, where he lost to Novak Djokovic in four sets. Djokovic also beat Berrettini in the quarter finals at Roland Garros and at the US Open in four-set matches. Berrettini became the first Italian men’s singles finalist in Wimbledon tournament history and the first Italian Grand Slam men’s singles finalist since Adriano Panatta at 1976 Roland Garros. He achieved his career-high number 7 after reaching the 2021 US Open quarter final.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is ranked fourth in this ranking with 2020 points. The Greek player He advanced to the French Open final to become the first player from his country to reach a Grand Slam final and the youngest Grand Slam finalist at the age of 22 since Andy Murray at 2010 Australian Open. Tsitsipas lost the final to Djokovic in five sets after holding a two-set lead. At the Australian Open Tsitsipas became only the second player along with Fabio Fognini at the 2015 US Open to beat Rafael Nadal in a Grand Slam match from two sets to love down.

Alexander Zverev was very consistent at Grand Slam level reaching two semifinals at Roland Garros and at the US Open, the quarter final at the Australian Open and the fourth round at Wimbledon.

Felix Auger Aliassime advanced to his first Grand Slam semifinal at the US Open, to the quarter final at Wimbledon and the fourth round at the Australian Open and ended the Grand Slam season in sixth place with 1270 points.

Rafael Nadal reached the quarter final at the Australian Open and the semifinal at the French Open, where he lost to Djokovic. In his only two Grand Slam tournaments Roger Federer beat Dominik Koepfer in four sets in the third round of the French Open before withdrawing from the tournament and lost to Hubert Hukacz in the quarter final at Wimbledon.

Denis Shapovalov won 720 pf his 900 Grand Slam points at Wimbledon, where he reached the semifinals.

The biggest surprises came from Aslan Karatsev, who reached the semifinal at the Australian Open as a qualifier, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (quarter finalist at Roland Garros) and Botic Van de Zandschulp, who was the only player to win a set against eventual champion Danil Medvedev en route to reaching the quarter final at the US Open.
