Former world number 2 Agnieszka Radwanska and her husband Dawid Celt are now parents of a baby boy. The former Polish star revealed the news on her Instagram account. The gave their son the name Jakub.
“The time has come for a new stage in my life”, wrote Radwanska on her Instagram account.
Agnieszka’s husband shared a picture of his son’s hand. Dawid was his wife’s hitting partner.
“Jakub is already with us”, wrote Dawid.
Urszula Radwanska reacted to the news.
“I became an aunt. Congratulations to the parents”, wrote Urszula Radwanska.
Agnieszka and Dawid got married on 22 July 2018. Aga played the final match of her career in 2018 after claiming 20 WTA titles. The Polish player reached the final at Wimbledon in 2012 and two Australian Open semifinals in 2014 and 2016. She also won the WTA Fan Favourite Award six times, the Shot of the Month Award on a regular basis. The Pole was voted the WTA’s Fan Favourite Singles Player for six consecutive years from 2011 to 2016.
On November 2018 Radwanska announced her retirement from professional tennis due to injury problems.
