We know is now a secondary element in the global pandemic situation that we are going through and that is why we support the decision that affects tennis players, who had so many possibilities for success this coming summer. This is not time for sporting objectives, our main fight focuses on frontal combat against the Covid-19. Social discipline is key to success. Our most iconic tennis players are complying with all these precautions and will soon give us sporting triumphs soon. Among them, at the Tokyo Olympics, now in the summer of 2021”.
Spanish Davis Cup captain Sergi Bruguera lost to André Agassi in the final of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. Bruguera agreed with the decision to postpone the Olympic Games, which will give all athletes the chance to prepare well for this event.
“I think it is a good decision, that will give all athletes, federations and countries time to reorganize to prepare them as needed”.
