Wednesday shows a few tournament favorites competing with clear lines to move on past the round of 32 at online sports betting outlets.

We are still in the early stages of the competition, so a lot could happen. But let’s have a look at a few of the players we think have shot of going deep in Paris.

Players to Watch

Novak Djokovic is a massive favorite over Corentin Moutet on Wednesday at -3100. Both Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev are moderate favorites over Taylor Fritz and Fernando Verdasco, the latter which was beaten handily by Zverev, 6-1, 6-3.

Jo-Wilfred Tsonga is a dog to Matteo Berrettini but holds a lot of value to move on. This is his 14th Rolex Paris Masters and he has already won two titles in France this season. Case in point, he wins nearly 73% of his matches while playing in France. So, we should keep an eye on him as an underdog in this event.

Federer withdrew from the event to prepare himself for the ATP Finals, so the field has a little less tough competition with the World No. 3 out. But Nadal, the No. 2 ranked ATP athlete is very much in the event. But with his recent wedding, and travel back and forth from Kazakhstan, we have to wonder if his head is in it enough to take the win on one of the fastest surfaces in the ATP. On top of that, Rafa has only reached the Final here once … and that was way back in 2007. Conversely, the world No. 1 (Djokovic) has won this event on four occasions. And last year, Novak made it all the way to the Final at the Rolex Paris Masters.

Though Djokovic is the top favorite to win the event, it won’t be easy. He has a tough draw and is like to face Diego Schwartzman and then, Stefanos Tsitsipas or perhaps Roberto Bautista. Medvedev was just eliminated by Jeremy Chardy, putting the Frenchman on the shortlist of players to look out for in this tourney. He took out the World No. 4 winning the second two sets, 6-2 and 6-4.

Speaking of Daniil Medvedev, let’s go back up to Alexander Zverev. He’s had a rough run of it this year, but he played quite well in Shanghai, making it all the way to the finals only to lose to Medvedev. Let’s not forget that Zverev is the only player with at least three Masters 1000 on tour right now other than, Murray, Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic.

After seeing the way Alexander Zverev absolutely crushed Fernando Verdasco, he looks as if he’s in peak form and ready to make a run at another Masters 1000. If I had to make a sleeper pick for a man that will sneak his way into the finals in Paris, it would be the No. 6 German.
