Simona Halep and Jelena Ostapenko will face each other in the final of the women’s draw in what will be their first meeting. Halep secured her spot by defeating Karolina Pliskova in three sets, denying her the No.1 spot. Meanwhile, Ostapenko knocked out Timea Bacsinszky to become the youngest Roland Garros finalist since Ana Ivanovic in 2007.
