The defeats for all four seeds on Thursday opens up the draw for the remaining seeds in the bottom half of the draw. Jan-Lennard Struff will face third seed Alexander Zverev in a quarter that went to the seeding. Second seed Roberto Bautista-Agut, now the ranking favourite for the title, faces surprise qualifier Yannick Hanfmann.
