Spanish tennis player, Feliciano Lopez, has ended his marriage with Alba Carrillo after being together for just 11 months.
This comes after the rumors about their separation gained momentum during the recently-concluded French Open in Paris, where Carillo was not present even as Lopez won his maiden Grand Slam title after partnering compatriot Marc Lopez to clinch the men’s doubles title.
Carillo, later, revealed in an interview to Hola magazine that Lopez was the one who asked for divorce in a “cold and distant” way.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old Lopez has had a tough start to his grass court campaign, as he faced first-round exits in both Stuttgart and London. He, however, is scheduled to partner Marc for the doubles event in London this week.
