Three-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams has crowned her incredible season with another prestigious award. After the Associated Press Award Serena was voted the “Champion of Champions” by the journalists of the popular French newspaper L’ Equipe. The US tennis legend, who won five titles at the Australian Open, the Roland Garros, Wimbledon, Miami and Cincinnati, won the women’s award ahead of five-time swimming champion Katie Ledecki, who won this vote last year.
