The 2012 runner up was simply too much for the world number 98, who could not find a way to break the Italian’s rock-solid defence and often was forced to defend herself.
Errani, who is the last female player to receive a golden set by the hands of Yaroslava Shvedova at Wimbledon, came close to clean this memory by producing one herself.
Between the end of the first and most of the second set, the 10th seed won 21 consecutive points, when finally Glushko hit a backhand winner on 4-0 40-0 for the Italian.
The Israeli then finally found her first game of the match thanks to a strong service game, in which she also found an ace.
Errani did not let the momentum change and immediately retook full control on the match and easily closed without giving any more chance to her opponent.
Glushko finished the second set winning nine points.
Despite the very convincing score line and display of tennis, it is hard to know whether the injury occurred to Errani in the Rome’s final is still bothering her, so it is very likely that her next match against Jankovic will reveal her real conditions.
The Serbian needed very little effort as well to reach the fourth round as Sorana Cirstea managed to win three games in total.
The two met in Rome two weeks ago, when the Italian won in straight sets in front of her home crowd, so Jankovic will look for revenge in Paris.
