TENNIS – Italy vs Great Britain audio. After the first day of competition in Naples Italy leads Great Britain 1-0 in the Davis Cup quarter final. Fabio Fognini defeated James Ward in four sets, the second singles match was suspended with the score at 6-4, 4-5 for Murray against Seppi.
On day one of the 2014 Davis Cup World Group quarter final between Italy and Great Britain in Naples, the first singles match started late because of a heavy thunderstorm. Eventually play started and Fognini defeated Ward 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 in just over three hours of play. In the second match Andy Murray won the first set 6-4, but in the second set Andreas Seppi couldn’t convert 4 set points before the match was suspended for bad light at 5-4 for the Italian.
