Sloane is young, talented and for many considered the future of tennis. She is working with Paul Annacone who she had to use “google” to learn more about him. Blame it, in the generation gap.
After she won her match 6-3, 7-5 over Kleybanova, she talked to the press and here are some of her quotes about Stadium 2, and anxiety before a match.

Q.  What did you like or didn’t like about Stadium 2?
SLOANE STEPHENS: It feels just like Stadium 1 just a little bit smaller and has a restaurant in it.

Q.  Can you hear?
SLOANE STEPHENS: You can’t hear the people in the restaurant, but you can hear the people walking around in like I guess the I don’t know. I have never seen how you get to the outside part. I don’t know if there are concessions or anything in there.
The new Stadium 2 in Indian Wells is the talk of the tournament, with three great restaurants for the public including the very popular Nobu. Its located a few levels up from the court and there are glass windows all around for people to watch while they dine. Well, seats by the windows in any of the restaurants go for $100 minimum. Some would agree, it is worth it, one of the best seats in the house, for sure.

POWER OF PRAY?
“But I think at the beginning of the tournament, first round, you’re like, Oh, my God. Please don’t lose first round. You’re worried about a lot. I think once you get deep in the tournament you feel a lot better. Obviously it’s a big tournament; always going to be tough.”
From Indian Wells, Lucia Hoffman
